Not much got done on Shoal Waters yesterday or today but following my intent to do something, no matter how small, on the boat I did a couple of small tasks.

The last of which, yesterday evening, was to finish the leak patch. Here I have filled the gaps, added the epoxy chamfer and coated the plywood with neat epoxy and covered the whole thing with peel ply.

There were two old screw holes under the bridge deck that were filled and covered in the peel ply.
Time for a cup of tea.

Today’s task, apart from removing the peel ply added last night, was to put in a support where the cabin bottom board on the starboard side butts up against the half bulkhead. There is no support here, so when you stand or kneel on the sole, the board bends.

In the end I screwed a spacer to the bottom of the board, as evidenced by the stainless screws you can see shining in the cabin light.

The leak patch looks a little rough, but that will be lightly sanded and painted so it will not look to bad when Shoal Waters is finished.
Time for a cup of tea.
